I watched this film a couple of days ago (Play have only just received new stock in).
Very unusual (though you may already have realised this), it is probably worth watching for the price, but I am not sure I would have relished paying any more for it.
The film transfer is not too bad and colours are pretty good for the age of the film. At some points there is obvious damage to the original, especially at the beginning. The film itself is in 4:3 aspect with mono sound. There are also some points where the editing is pretty annoyingly shoddy. Basically a no-frills affair.
The film itself is a little reminiscent of Hammer, however much, much trippier. I am not sure I fully understood it. It follows Valerie and her coming of age, whereby some characters around her turn out to be (or become) supernatural (e.g. it has vampiric/everlasting youth themes). Not sure what else to say without giving any spoilers, to me it was more of a collection of scenes rather than a lucid film, but a reasonable diversion for an hour and fifteen minutes.
