Awesome photo's, thanks for posting.

That last shot must be when the jacket re-sizes itself and all the people controlling it off screen

Really? Cool.

This scene looks like one that wasn't used. I don't remember that bus or the balloons, and how come the clock tower is missing the clock?

My new Nike Air Mags

well hate to add to an old thread but I finally managed to bag myself a pair of Brand New and unworn Mags.....and I'm so glad I spent out on them (appreciate they are a large expense BUT hey ho).

Never thought I would get a pair after the auciton prices went mental, and resale prices were also far too high, with general pricing appearing to be between 3 and 6 grand.....then I finally found a pair, made a decent offer and picked them up on Monday......I've now also managed to track down a replica movie prop quality hoverboard and these are going to be the centrepiece to my memorobilia display in my new loft cinema when its completed....along with my wearable replica stormtrooper armour, replica lightsabers and various movie busts and models....yes I am defintely a movie geek

By the way, loving the backstage stills...great to get another view of a great movie trilogy. Seem to remember seing a video somewhere of guys under a fake floor pulling the lcaes together on the original boots in the film....still amazed that a lot of people thought they were real....wishful thinking I guess.

Have some pics of the boots here now...will update with more pics as the board arrives....

You can get the jacket from Asia (even on Ron eBay right now) but I'd meet wear it and having a storm trooper suit on a mannequin was a push with the wife.

Ah ok.

A look on ebay and it seems you can get replicas of pretty much any prop from these movies. I quite like the look of this one (nerd alert!). A Mr Fusion would be quite cool too.

Sorry to be rude but how much did you pay? I would really like a pair of these.

Let's just say A LOT. but nowhere near the silly prices these are going for on eBay at the moment. I consider the price I paid an absolute bargain but I'm sure others would be disgusted. I will say it was cheaper than the cheapest pair went for in the auction. Put it that way.

Those boots are ****ing rad! Worth every penny of whatever you paid. Would be so tempting to wear them out though! Just once!

They really are so awesome. And to be honest although I'd love to wear them out I don't think I ever will. It would be soda law that someone would drop red wine onto ten or something and then they are ruined forever.

So once the hoverboard arrives hopefully Monday or Tuesday. I'll measure up for a nice perspex box with A black wooden base and that is where they will live. As said above. Got a lot of movie memorabilia but this will be the centrepiece although it's gonna fights for attention along with my storm trooper armor once I get it on a mannequin

You may not be that shocked that I have been reading up about these a lot in the past few days and from what I've read they actually produced 1510 pairs.

1500 were for the eBay auctions. 150 pairs a day for 10 days an ten they had 10 individual pairs auctioned off at Nike stores around the world. These were web more special as they came in a special plutonium storage flight case in yellow which looked awesome and I would absolutely love. These went for considerably more though. In fact I think they averaged about 20k

Loving the trainers. I wouldn't be able to resist wearing them though. In highly controlled circumstances, of course!

Anyone looking for decent Mag replica's (or any movie prop replicas actually) at a fraction of the price check out these threads:

Nike McFly to 2011 Nike MAG (My Conversion)

You need to be a member to view The Junkyard and buy but here's the link:

the RPF

Edit: It isn't me selling these by the way, it's just a forum I found a while ago. Someone on here posted it actually about somebody making a replica of The Amazing Spiderman costume

A mate of mine years back (1991 or before I forget) went to cobra sports in London and bought a pair of Nike air jordans, the ones with the wings that the guy wears in the Utah saints something good video. Anyway, he went down to Weston super mare wearing them some lad clocked them and bet him he wouldn't jump off the pier. The idiot took his trainers off and jumped leaving his trainers at the mercy of the scammer who ran off them.

So definitely don't wear them out!

I really really want those Adidas Han Solo Hoth boots but no idea where to get them in the uk.
