Check out your local library

My local libraries (Doncaster) have started to lend DVD's. Only 75p for a whole week, and they have a good selection on offer too. Well worth checking out, and beats most rental places by a mile.

The only drawback is that they only have 1 or 2 copies of films, so you may have to wait for more popular titles.

Hi,

My local libraries also rent out DVD's, however not at the prices you state. For me, most major blockbuster movies cost £2 per night (which is still a good deal, but isn't necessarily convenient for some of us who don't live too close by), and other tiltes (like older movies, music or educational titles at £1 per week.

The choice is reasonable, but not great, so my local video/DVD rental store would still be the best place for me, albeit at a higher price.
