Bargains in the Sales

Though I already have it, Virgin are selling (IMHO) one of the best films of all time: The Shawshank Redemption for £6.99 on R2. I did buy Sexy Beast R2 for £10.99, and Get Carter R2 for £9.99 from Virgin.

I have found that most of the titles on offer in the high street, have been on offer on the usual websites for even less for a while anyway.

There's bargains to be had, once you have digged thru all the 7.99 Warner DVDs !

We only have HMV, Our price, Smiths and Woolies for DVD's where I live, and the few discs that seem to be reduced are all the same Warner titles, nothing much under 12 months old either.

Why is it that all sales seem to push out the same old cr@p when it comes to DVD's, yet all the latest chart albums can be had for under a tenner?

Nice one with 'Pitchblack' Zone. Fantastic film.

Bought myself 'The Untouchables' and 'Billy Conelly Live' from HMV.
'Untouchables' - great film, rubbish DVD, but worth a tenner I reckon, and 3 hours of Billy Conelly, fantastic!

I'm waiting till I get paid at the end of January, so I can go into HMV with those silly vouchers and get loads of stuff.
