Should I watch House of Wax?

Well im ordering some stuff off amazon, and am struggling to decide whether to get House of Wax at £9.99

Now i've been looking at reviews etc. and some people actually think its good. But im wondering....as alot of these 15 certificate teen horror films are dire in the extreme *cough* cabin fever.

Do you guys think its an alright buy for a tenner??

Cheers
Dave

the script is awful in my opinion. paris hilton cant act to save her life. its like three 50 yr olds got together in a pub and said "how can we make this movie cool?". they failed. Worth a watch but not for a tenner, rent it. If you have a thing for cuthbert like I, it may be worth it...

Was interested when I heard it contained Paris and Elisha. Eye Candy don;t get much better

But most reviews have been fairly average.

Wouldn't be suprised if this turns up in the bargain bins in a relatively short space of time.

Even though the script is average, ie the dialogue, the tense is top notch , and i have seen a lot worse. The production values are high, as with the finale.
Def worth watching, youll be suprised, even if only on rental like me.

It's not a great movie, it's not scary, but there is something strangely beautiful in seeing Ms. Hilton being killed, even if it's fake (like her.... oooh controversial!)

Better than Boogeyman (what isn't though) worse than Texas Chainsaw remake - to give an idea.

It's worth seeing for Paris Hilton alone ...her dying that is. Overall an average (at best) not-scary-at-all horror flick. I.e. rent, don't buy.

Its a reasonably enjoyable if instantly forgettable film, very cliched and not particularly scary. Will keep you occupied for a couple of hours.

Dont buy just rent.
