Given Besson's recent form I am not sure this is a good idea! I can't imagine Matilda actually growing into a killer, it wouldn't make much sense. We would have already seen a similar story before in movies such as The Assassin and Long Kiss Goodnight.

I say leave it alone, too many great movies are dragged back for unnecessary sequels these days. The thought of a Leon sequel is much, much more appealing than I fear the reality of it would be.
