Fifth Element

Hello all,
I was planning on getting a copy of Fifth Element Superbit R1,
but after reading about the Ultimate Edition, I am not so sure now.
The UE says "superbit presentation of the movie".
Could you tell me, is this presentation the same quality as the
Superbit release?
Thank you.

Johnny.

well, seeing as there'll probably be a high-def blu-ray version in a couple of years, does it really matter!?!?

Do you have a copy of this already?

Like turtle said, HD/BR within a couple of years. Maybe only a year, maybe less!!

Have the Superbit disc (R1) and the quality is top draw.

if you must buy said disc, i'd get the cheapest possible version (decent) and who knows, next summer you could be watching it in glorious HD

Thanks guys.
I am going to buy the best one available now........
If I wait for hd/bluray etc, I would not buy another disc.....
If you know what I mean.
Has anyone had a comparison of superbit and UE.
Cheers.

Johnny.

There has been some debate about the different versions. The US R1 Superbit is said to be the best in terms of PQ. I beleive the new R1 Ultimate does in fact use the same source as the R1 superbit.

Just make sure you DONT one of the other versions which are sourced from the french version which is poorer in PQ than the R1.
