I thought it was very good. Not the best film ever and it dragged a bit towards the end but overall one of the better things I've seen this year.

I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard some reviewers say that the acting is a bit OTT. Anyone has any comments?

The acting probably is a bit OTT but not to the detriment of the film. No worse than any other war movie IMO.
