Seems a bit pricey for a R3!

Got my copy today too. Hope the break in the film is better placed than the appalling one in the R3 Alexander 3 discer!

Will try to watch it tonight, looking forward to it as I didn't see it on the cinema.

Guys,

Can you explain in a bit more detail what the packaging is like?

Cheers

The cover is nice its a card case with a Lenticular image on both sides. The casing inside is a little cheap though, its basically a plastic box that holds 3 DVD discs & a small package holding a paper aeroplane ready to be made up. Overall I'm pretty satisfied, its English DTS & overall it looks a nice set

Apparently the French will be treated to 3 versions, one with a proper model aeroplane?

I haven't watched it yet? Some other forums say it may be a full bitrate DTS track?

Its like a 3D image that moves slightly. They are quite good actually. Its the same as the Donnie Darko Director's Cut cover.

Still undecided about getting this. How is the switch from disc 1 to disc 2 handled? Is the PQ any good? (just want to confirm these after seeing the R3 Alexander 3 disc set). And it was mentioned above that the DTS track is full bitrate, can anyone confirm this?

The switch from disc 1 to 2 is handled very well, haven't actually watched the film yet thought but had a look for you, no worries on that score. FYI
the average bit rate for disc 1 is 9.1 and for disc 2 it is 8.7.

Regards

Its a good film with a damn good soundtrack!
Picture is also crystal clear!

However, I am now selling my 3 Disc SE as I doubt I will watch it for some time...
