Sir Ridley sure can make a film look good though, I thought that this was one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen - the cgi city of Jerusalem was outstanding, as were the battle scenes. and I love the way Ridley fills every shot with such texture: there is always, snow, or dust particles, or fire, or smoke or something dancing on the light.
Best thing about the movie though was the score - just ordered the CD
Who did the score? Was it Hans Zimmerman?

It was by Harry Gregson Williams - can't say I have ever noticed him before but apparently he has been around for a long time discography.

Was very impressed, he managed to blend a degree of subtlety with a fair helping of epic.

Saw this tonight, I thought it was good but couldn't help feeling something was missing especially in the relationship between Orlando & the 2nd king (sorry already forgot his name). Thought Orlando did well though as the main lead

IMO I thought this film was very good. Orlando bloom lets the film down with his not much to say look and he doesn't say much throughout the film until the end. Music was excellent with cinematography as we excpect from the ridley camp. After watching the recent farcical historical 'epics' this was a refreshing change not having to depend on battles to endure the film 8/10
