Cd-wow are a great company to buy from, their customer service is really good too.
Razor, please let us know what you think of the film, when you've watched it.

Will do, I'm looking forward to it. Pleased that it is SUPERBIT encoded so picture & sound quality should be very good (5.1 DTS)

I'm quite excited about the 5 part making of Steamboy documentaries too
Dvd soon have some good deals on anime at the moment, especially with icard discount.
Elfen lied vol 1 £7-ish, £10-ish with collectors box (looks amazing)
Ghost in the shell SAC vols 1-7 around £8.50 each
Bubblegum Crisis 2040 essential anime 2 disk sets £5.20
dai guard complete set 6 disks £17
+loads more all cheaper with icard.

Watched the DVD but for some reason when I select English DTS it only shows up as DD on the control screen on my system, and it starts off with the DD intro instead of a DTS intro.
Anyone else ?

I got the same, I thought it was because I was using my pc and one of settings weren't correct. I will try it out on my dvd player to see if I get the same.

Did not notice any dts problems, apart from being bloody loud.
Sorry i wanted to like the film, but i was left bored. 10 years in the making, and most expensive
Not a patch on appleseed. Sorry. And where was the superbit picture?, maybe it was for sound only. The PQ was nothing special. At times murky and noisy, fitting for the victorian era maybe.

Did you get a DTS intro before the film started?

I got the dts intro 'the dvd cd image' and all the dts sound fx, 'this theatre features dts' intro all in dts
It then went to dd for the copyright text stuff for a few secs, and then back to dts when the film started.

Did anybody like the film?
