It would be interesting to know what you do like. You seem quite knowledgeable about film. Do you reject anythingt that discusses new releases ? Because I'd say anything of the sort will have to strike a balance of being critical, while not totally alienating potential interviewees.

Thread stating to descend in to a argument rather than a discussion stop it.

The thread pulled itself out of an arguement yesterday, one which I flagged up when I got a bit fed up with redwings hysterical accusations. Gregg gently stepped in at that point.

I don't see an arguement at the moment. I was just paying a compliment to bosque and genuinely would like to know what media on film he searches out. I still see no more than a discussion here.

I read Sight & Sound, American Cinematographer, some of Robin Wood's output, re-read David Thomson's Dictionary but not a lot else. I'm not a collector but I do find diskjunkie's youtube postings entertaining.

I love Robin Wood, he was one of my all times favourite film writers. Not so keen on Thompson, though his Dictionary is essential and entertaining if occasionaly infuriating reading. Never heard of discjunkie, may check that one out.

A warning: If you have no interest in steelbooks etc you might find diskjunkie tedious.

I nearly bought the UK Steelbook release of Drive, it was the same price as the "non-steelbook" copy. At a stroke HMV seemd to have devalued the nation's stock of steelbook blu-rays
