Thought the last one was over the top brilliance, especially the use of someone's intestines as a rope lol, this should be good.

Brilliant! First one was quality! So bad it was good kind of quality, and it oozed cheese!

Agree.
The first one was brilliant. It was so bad, that it was good.
Loved the way it didn't take itself too seriously and the comedy elements.

They should have called it:

"Machete Don't Text"

Looking forward to this. Thought Machete was excellent and the scene where

machete is with lohan and her mum in the pool had me in stitches

Machete DON'T text, or record your crazy rants to sell to the press.

Hi,

MACHETE is definitely a great exploitation pastiche, and Danny Trejo is a great character actor. So seeing two more films in this potential Trilogy, should be good, provided the writers and directors don't try to be too clever.

The nudity for her in one scene was re-created on computer

Warning mild nudity

Are you aware it was meant to be a pastiche of exploitation films, 80's action TV shows, and a slight spoof of Mexican cinema, as well? If not, then that may explain why you didn't enjoy it.

It's not meant to be a serious film, nor one to take literally. It's pretty-much just one, long joke, but a damn fun one to enjoy for 85 minutes or so of mindless entertaiment, whilst still having enough sophistication and intelligence within it, to those looking to be cerebrally stimulated at the same time.

The title is also a spoof/play-on-words. To the English-speaking world, it's pronounced "Machete" (as in the weapon). To Mexicans, Spaniards, and those living in/around South America, it's a pastiche of the male name "Ma-chet-te" (spoken with a hard "ch", as in the name Charles), common amongst boys and men in that neck of the world.

Would you care to elaborate? What is it that you didn't like?

Now confirmed. Michelle Rodriguez will reprise her role as Luz, the leader of an illegal immigrant aid movement known as the Network. She’ll be starring alongside Mel Gibson, who plays “Luther Voz, a cunning arms dealer and death merchant who aims to spread war across the planet by launching a missile.”

Jessica Alba is also expected to return

I've never rated him and I imagine he doesn't come cheap, even these days. They should get someone better and cheaper.

Always been a fan myself from the early days on, personal life aside. I don't think he would be up there with the high paid actors.

To be fair I did quite like Conspiracy Theory which is odd because I'm not that keen on Julia Roberts either. Just as odd was that her brother Eric's portrayal of The Master in the American Dr Who TV movie reminded mr of Gibson and I thought he very good.
