Kick ass trailer for Angelina Jolie's new espionage thriller, playing Evelyn Salt. Tom Cruise was once attached to play the lead role as Edwin A. Salt, but he backed out early on, in stepped Jolie.

Ah, you can't knock AJ kicking serious butt. Shame they dropped her for Tomb Raider 3, a role she was absolutely born to play.

The trailer makes the story out to be very run of the mill. But I can see it having a few good twists.

Caught this film tonight and i thought it was actually very good, plenty of action and some nice twists but it seemed to be over really quick, i personally thought it could have done with being a bit longer.

Not necessarily a bad thing. I think some action movies these days are a bit bloated and try to be "more than an action movie", imply some intellect and social commentary and come in over 2 hours. Meanwhile, I just want to see stuff blow up!

A nice round 100 mins is long enough (I believe there's been some cuts against the US PG-13 version to secure a 12A instead of 15).

Too much salt and not enough vinegar imo.

Great film, entertaining and a decent amount of action. I didn't expect much, the story was okay with a few plot holes.

I really liked this film. The action was thick and fast, and the plot was great. Really hope there is a sequel.

I can't wait to see this. I think Angelina is awesome as an action star. Tomb Raider was great, and Salt should be even better.

That photo is so over airbrushed!!! I went to watch Salt last week as Knight and Day was full, and I absolutely loved it, lots of chase scenes and plenty of action. :D

I think the clue is in the title. Take this film with a pinch of 'salt'. A decent story line but apart from that I thought it was pretty poor. Almost like one continuous action scene.
