Crank director try to convince us how they pushed the PG-13 rating on Ghost Rider 2.

Saw the trailer on TV for this last night and it actually looks ok. Won't bother going to see it at the cinema though. Blu Ray for me.

Well I want to get the whole backstory of how he came to be I guess it would be a good idea. Plus I didn't think the 1st movie was too bad. Worth a watch.

Saw this today in 2D. Probably the worst film I've seen since The Spirit. So bad it makes the first film seem like a masterpiece. Avoid like the plague is my advice.

Yeah I prefer to get back story too but im scared film will run off the circuit by the time i get the the first film from lovefilm. I enjoy all Cage films regardless of how crap some are!

The rejected 23 page script (below) for 'Ghost Rider 2: Riders On The Storm', by Todd Farmer & Patrick Lussier was considered to violent and therefore passed on for 'Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance' by David S Goyer.

Haha I'm the same. Love most of his films apart from Bangkok Dangerous. Even I couldn't stomach that.

I'm always the one going against the pack, but I loved it! I've been waiting for quite a while now to see Cage at his craziest and in this he is bugs**t crazy. I'm glad this wasn't your standard superhero film because Ghost Rider isn't one! He's a demon and for most of the movie behaved like one. I think the directors went with the brave choice to include the best of the 80s/90s comics and not to follow up the previous movie which really had the 70s version of Ghost Rider ( the squeaky clean one, where they weren't even allowed to mention the devil. More down to the comics code than Marvel's choice.)

I think the only thing that hurt this movie was the choice to be 12A. Really just a commercial choice I guess.

So if you, like me, want to see the Ghost Rider on film as in the comics (not 70s version) with some of the coolest moments put to film of any of the Marvel movies so far..Idris Elba as cool as only Idris Elba can be... And by far the most fantastic motorcycle stunts and effects (the bike all flaming up in convincing detail, in harsh sunlight too!)

Finally feel the Hellfire that is the Ghost Rider.

(Will agree 3D sucks though.)
