Amazon BOGOFs and Import Duty??

Seeing as Amazon have now slapped up a BOGOF sale for HD-DVD this week and i've got $11 in vouchers to spend there i'm thinking of ordering a couple of titles.

Anyone know the deal with duty? Usually if amazon ship more than one you get stung as the cost is put at abve the £18 limit.

How does this work with offers like this? The total price will be $25 dollars so should be under the limit, but do they stick the full price values on the import info? No point in ordering if you get stung duty and 8 quid handling!

They put the full value on the packages but it's hit and miss whether you'll be stung by customs

If you get stung by customsd you can claim it back.

A pain in the arse, but there you go.

Yes, it's definitely hit and miss. I ordered some Blu-rays recently and came through customs fine.

But be aware, as others have said they put the full price on the packaging, disregarding any discount vouchers you use, or the BOGOF offer.

I've taken the risk and bought The Departed and Superman returns (non combos) and the total price with delivery is £16.70.

We'll see what happens but i'm using the wishful thinking i used for my BOGOF Blu-Ray movies from them too
