Amazon.co.uk Rental: Purchase discount

A couple of weeks ago amazon cancelled my rental account due to my credit card details being out of date, 1 day before the deadline they told me to update my details by.

I have now re-instated the rental account but I notice that there is only a 5% discount on DVD purchases as oppose to the 10% I previously had. I see that they do now advertise it as 5% but I wondered if existing customers who signed up when it was 10% are still getting the 10% discount. If they are then I will be on to amazon to get them to re-instate my original 10% promo on my account that they unfairly cancelled.

Thanks.

Yes - I still get 10% from Amazon.co.uk.

If you had 10% then you should still get 10%. It is 5% for new rental accounts.

This might seem radical, but have you tried contacting them about it? I bet they'll reinstate your discount if you explain what happened.

LOL

I will be contacting them but I wanted to get my facts right first.

Thanks for all your responses.
