Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
Hi,
I'm looking for an online retailer that sells Japanese region DVDs in Japanese language. If anyone can recommend a reliable and reasonably priced source.
Thanks

Re: Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
all depending on how widly available what you are looking for is:
www.cdwow.com
www.dddhouse.com - not sure if they exists anymore? I think I read somehwere they were no longer shipping to the UK
and
I second Yesasia and Amazon Japan, can be a bit awkward ordering from them though, unless you can read japanese or translate each page (google can do this for you)

I've just ordered a SACD from Amazon and there was enough English to get by. Mind you Fedex have fouled up the delivery. I did a track on their delivery and they attempted to deliver to the wrong address. It's in a depot in Newcastle. They failed to ring me back to sort it out.
Cheers

Re: Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
Amazon.co.jp seem to have the widest selection and most reasonable prices for DVD's I'm looking for however the shipping costs are too high (£13-14/order) and they do not offer SAL which means I will likely pay import duty.
It looks like Yesasia is probably the most reasonable all round.

Re: Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
www.play-asia.com has a selection of DVDs and also lots of gaming stuff (consoles and accessories as well as games). I have used them a number of times for 360 games and postage is cheap and fairly quick (5-10 working days).

Re: Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
Don't buy from Amazon Japan because their delivery service Fedex is *****! Their first attempt to deliver was Monday but I only got it yesterday. It took several phonecalls and e-mails to achieve this. I was promised several calls back and didn't get one.
Disgruntled

Yes but they're the company who Amazon Japan use. The postage was more expensive than the SACD. It was terrible service.
All the best

Re: Where to buy Japanese DVDs.
Took a look at those two sites, the first one seems to have a few Japanese DVDs but the second one just stocks porn films.
Thanks for the responses from everyone so far, anyone know of any online Japanese retailers actually based in Japan that ship overseas? I know Amazon jp has been mentioned but they only ship via expensive methods.
