Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

I was just wondering what Cd-Wow are like for delivery times nowadays? In particular non recent dvd releases?

I stopped using them a few months ago as all my orders were taking at least 2-3 weeks to get to me.

So I'd like to know if they have imporoved recently as I'm sure I read they are being run by different people now? Thanks!

I ordered 3 discs on Friday, 2 delivered on Monday and one yesterday, first time I have used them since the change of ownership. noticed it was a bit slower before that happened but seems OK now.

I ordered one DVD and it took 3 days from Hong Kong and is twice as quick as I last ordered from them.

Re: Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

Sadly it doesn't look as if the change of management has made any improvemrent: I ordered a DVD on Monday and just two days later it's status has gone from pending despatch to pre-order. The DVD ha been out for months!

Re: Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

I have had "Despatch notice" on 29/10, 30/11, 31/10 & 2/11 and none of them has arrived.
Could the reason be the UK postal strike?

Re: Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

Hi All,

Seems to be back to normal as far as I can see with my orders. All have arrived within a week of dispatch and my last order was dispatched last friday and was waiting for me when I got home from work monday.

Could the reason by the postal strike?

I mean loads of parcel must have build up, and will take some extra time to get delivered to foreign countries.

Re: Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

My concern was ordering & waiting weeks for it to be sent out. Fair enough if something is out of stock but after waiting ages, they wouldn't let me cancel saying it was on it's way but still didn't send it out for another 2 weeks!

Well, I contacted them about a dvd which they say is in stock so I ordered it Wednesday, just waiting for the depatch email.

I noticed that they dont send these until about 2 days after despatch, you get mnore of an idea by logging into your account and looking there, I got despath emails the same day as 2 of the products arrived, could just be slow email delivery, but I doubt it

Re: Cd-Wow delivery times - any improvement?

Yeah I get my dispatch emails after the item has been delivered! My first 2 orders from the new owners were delivered in 2 days! That's got to be some kind of record for them.

I think they are great.
