Play.com preorders and tracking numbers?

Two questions really -
1) Are play reliable for getting preorders to you on, or even before, release date?
2) How do those tracking numbers work! I've had a couple of them appear on my account before, as I link to the parcelforce website. Doesn't seem to bring up anything when I try to track it.

1. Play usually post things a couple of working days or more before the release date, although it's a bit of a lottery these days as to whether they will arrive on time or early.

2. You need to copy the tracking no. into the box on the Parcel Force website. Clicking the link used to be enough to get tracking information, but it doesn't seem to work any more.

I've copied the number into the parcelforce website, but it hasn't come up with anything! Unless of course they haven't received it yet, which would probably result in me not getting my order tomorrow. Damn.
