Anyone know a way to repair dvd case centres on boxsets?

Hi,

Got a boxset, you know the kind, fold out packaging, clear plastic holder on a carboard background.

The centre is broken on a couple so the discs are loose and I want to stop the scratching, is there anthing that can be done?

Cheers

Liam

They are called digipaks. I would use a replacement case to put all the discs in or, just get a couple of those plastic sleeves and put the discs inside to protect them.

bit of a stretch, but if you buy some regular dvd cases that use the solid plastic ring method to hold the disc in, you can cut the ring and part of the back of the case off with a stanley knife, and the break off the remaining clips from your digipak and glue the ring in it's place.

or more simply, cut out a nice circle of bubble wrap from a jiffy bag, and put it on top of the dvd, that way when the boxset is shut, the disc will be held in place by the bubble wrap

Thanks guys, I have done the replacement case option in the past but annoyed at the wasted packaging, I may try some butchering yet!
