DVD Media Center

Hi All,

I have recently built myself a Media Center with 1TB of storage.

My aim is to make full backups of my DVD's and play them via the Media Center rather than using the actual DVDs.

Can anyone recommend a bit of software I can use to do this - I have seen a few online and tested them (Imtoo DVD Riper best so far) but I find that the sound only comes out in 2 channel not 5.1 and that sometime the movies have speed up when there is not sound playing.

Any help would be most greatful.

Re: DVD Media Center

To do this on commercial DVDs would involve circumventing the copy protection systems. Discussion about ways to circumvent copy protection schemes to enable copies to be made (which includes copying to a Hard Disc) is not permitted here, I'm afraid.
