DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Wanted Sopranos Part 2 HD-DVD. Not only were these guys the cheapest I could find, but with a 24 hour turn around, i'm really impressed. They even accept Paypal, so I was able to use some of the balance that's been burning a hole in my pocket.
Recommended.

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
I have used these a few times now and yes they are excellent. Sadly for HD they carry a premium, but if you want something ASAP they are great

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Do they ship from the US or UK? They don't have any indication on the website as to whether something is in stock or not, am I missing it or is there no way of telling if something is in stock?

I think it works that if its on the site, its in stock (maybe email to check). All orders come from the UK, usually next day (1st class rec)

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
How much do they charge for postage? They don't seem to say on their site...
Also, I know this is probably stupid, but there's no security badge on their site - one assumes they use a secure site for check-out etc...?
Thanks!

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
I have been using them for many many years, at first for imported Laserdiscs, and have always found their service exemplary.
The website doesn't indicate stock levels, but you can always call them. If you're anywhere near King's Langley they have a high street shop.
All goods are despatched locally and, from stock, usually arrive next day (Post, 1st Class, "Signed For"). Postage = £1 per title up to a max of £3 per package, IIRC.
Only criticism: have been known to supply bilingual Canadian artwork......
Oh....and last time I looked (a minute ago) there WAS a "Verisign" logo on the main page.

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Thanks for the help guys!
Will give them a shot sometime!
Surprised they haven't been mentioned around here more often if they offer delivery of R1 titles from inside the UK...

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Have made a couple of pilgrimages there recently, like the good old days of visiting Laser Enterprises.
There's a pub almost next door that does reasonable food and has Tring Brewery Ridgeway Bitter on hand-pump - makes it a good day out.
It's a bit of a walk from the railway station though, about 20 mins.

They're fantastic. Received my Metalocalypse Season 1 DVD from them 3 days before it was even due for release in America!

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
I retract my previous statement. My order was despatched on Monday, and still hasn't arrived. And they aren't replying to my emails either.

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Amazed that they are charging £80+ for Lost Season 3 and the Die Hard Collection on BR which can be had from other suppliers for about £40 and £60 respectively. That is a huge mark up.

Pricing can be a little erratic I guess, on the other hand Star Trek is in stock (should be next day delivery) at £90.99 delivered.

Re: DVDs Limited - Really Impressed
Well colour me flabbergasted - ordered Lost Season 3 on Wednesday evening and it just arrived!
Absolutely fantastic service - easily the quickest turnaround for an import I've ever had!
Will be using them again!
