Legal Movie / TV Download Sites?

Hi

Just had a quick nose around Itunes, but left pretty uninsprired, no movies at all ??? And a bunch of south park and lost episodes.

Is there a list of legit sites anywhere , anybody have any feedback.

For example I would like to download Series 6 of the Shield, in a time frame less than 3 months per episode, any legal sites doing it?

Seriously, nobody on AVforums knows where you can legally download and pay for films?

You can download films from Lovefilm, not sure if they do TV shows too, or what teh selection is like.

If you ask me it's completely stupid that stuff like that isn't readily available over here, whereas in the US you can download a lot of TV shows they day after they air. The fact that they aren't available to download legally doesn't stip people doing it, which is why it's so stupid. Obviously not everyone would pay, but if the price and content were good, I expect a lot of people would.

i,ve a account at amazon.com and can download video from there, I only started yesterday and you need to download their unbox software as this is needed for playback, you can buy or rent films and buy tv by season or episode, also some free stuff available at the mo some first episodes of season tv shows . hope this helps someone

Amazon sounds properietary, ideally I just wanted to download the sucker to an ipod / zen or something and wang it into the TV.

This sort of stuff should be so simple by now..

Theres also the BBC and Channel 4 on-demand players.
