HMV / U2 Popmart

Just a cautionary note. Today I received the 2-disc release of Popmart, except that when I opened the package there was only 1 disc inside. The packaging is for 2 discs, however.

I've contacted HMV via email, although I doubt it'll be read tonight, so I'm going to call them in the a.m. too.

Nothing against HMV - the package was sealed so it's hardly their fault; I just wanted to alert anyone who was thinking of buying it from them.

I'll let you know what they say.

I ordered this from them too last week. Mine arrived in perfect condition, with the 2 discs (was sealed too) and within 2 days of ordering.

Maybe I was lucky.

I called them today and I've to send it back to Guernsey.

The woman on the phone apologised for the warehousing error but I stopped her and said it wasn't actually the fault of the warehouse guys - the package clearly states it's the 2-disc release; it's the suppliers who've ba**sed up.

Hah, these things happen from time to time.

This reminds me of years ago when I bought GoodFellas on VHS from a HMV store and when I played it the tape was blank! Stupidly I never took it back for an exchange...I found it the other day and binned it!

Replacement arrived today, slight delay due to The Strike, and both discs are present and correct.
