what's happened to movietyme?

I've got about £100 worth of discs on order from movietyme, but I haven't received anything from them for weeks, and the last time they replied to one of my e-mails was October 2nd! I've sent about five or six e-mails since, requesting info about my orders and they simply refuse to answer them!! Has anyone else been having the same problem? Or is it just me they're picking on?!! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm starting to become seriously worried.

I've been finding them slow recently for the first time too. Mummy Returns still hasn't arrived and it's been out a month.

last time i ordered i got a shaker, so emailed discproblems to find out details for sending it back...no email received.

however, i read of craig@movietyme.com trying to solve a few issues on this forum. so i emailed him, got an email response the next day, sent off the disc and it was back by the end of the week.

i don't really want to burden this person with all problematic emails, but if you are having trouble and unable to resolve it, try emailing him, it certainly worked when i did it.

I to am suffering from the poor service at movietyme. I have sent emails asking what films that I had on pre-order and they just don't reply. I have spent £1,000+ on DVD's from movietyme you'd think they would value there customers. Because of this I have 2 copies of shrek!!

Come on movietyme pull you finger out.

Yes what did happen to movietyme? They turned great! I ordered Jurassic Park 1, Toy Story 3 Disc and Rock CE, all had problems.

Recently i ordered Star Wars, Mummy Returns and Shrek, they all turned up two weeks early! So in my view, they went great!

Terrible MovieTyme Service

Ordered 4 DVD's in September received one, today is 15 Dec 2001.

Various E-mails no response. They have deducted £66 from my credit card. The film I received so far was $8.95.

I thought they wouldn't deduct until shipping ?

It doesn't matter

I shop at other places and get great service. This does not make you feel any better when you get less than perfect service.

However, I got the shock of my like when he replied to this forum on saturday. It's good to see Craig is taking note.

Now that I have given him my information (yet again). I will see if movietyme can redeem themselves.

If they do mark my words I will make it known to everyone.

Regards

Craig, I have e-mailed you at 'craig@movietyme.com' with reference to 2 returned discs, a missing disc and a faulty disc.

Regards

Pete.

Thumbs up

Craig,

My apologies, my card has indeed been refunded, though not the one I was expecting! It must have been a card I had used in the past. Sorry for any confusion & misunderstanding :o

Thanks also for the e-mail re: the replacement X-Files disc.

Happy Christmas

Pete

Confucius, you've got over 500 DVD's. eek, where do you find the time to watch them all. You could be a DVD library!

I don't.

Well, not true actually!

'Fortunately' my job involves a lot of sitting around at home waiting to go places like Afghanistan, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia, so most of my viewing is during the day! Just watched Magnum Force as a matter of fact, and I think I'll continue in a similar vein this afternoon with The Enforcer.
