Amazon "Used" items - safer then ebay?

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of the used items on Amazon?

Specifically are you more/less likely to get a pirate? Are you more/less covered then ebay?

Any opinions would be most appreciated

i've used it a couple of times, just be wary and remember if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is!

i used it a few times for dvds and got them, then ordered a phone (about a year or two ago) - a sharp gx20 for £170, and it never came. However they did give me a refund within a month of the purchase, so it would seem some are slightly dodgy, but you are well covered.

Yes, you are well covered. The purchases actually go through Amazon, you pay them and then they pay the seller. As chedmaster said any problems and you should get a refund.
