CD Wow

Just a quickie...

Does anyone know if CD Wow hold stock of the region 1 disks? Just wondered if I will get hit with import duties for ordering Region 1 box sets from them (over £20 value) or will the disks be dispatched from within the UK anyway?
I am presuming that cd-wow are UK based of course.

Cheers!

cdwow are not UK based but never fear they are a well respected company and do sell a wide range of dvds from all regions including region 1, You will not get hit on import duties as they have changed their shipping routes so no worries there. Theres a thread youll find at the top of this forum about import tax etc hope this helps.

changed their shipping routes? does this mean if I order a box set of value over £20 I wont get hit by customs charges?
Any customer of CD Wow confirm please?

you wont get hit, its been a big discussion on this forum a few months ago, they changed their shipping routes during the summer. I am a long standing cdwow customer but have never ordered anything over 20 pound mark but im sure if you look around this forum youll find plenty of people who have.

CDWow ship orders from Hong Kong and anything under £18 will usually be sent by normal airmail which takes about 3 days to get to the UK.

Items over £18 are sent to somewhere in Europe first and then sent on to the UK so that there is no risk of you recieving customs charges but I believe this does add to the delivery time so you can order anything from their site knowing you wont get charged customs but it may take a week or so to arrive.
