Unhappy CD WOW and Star Wars

I have just spoken to CD WOW customer services regarding the shipping date for the R1 version of the trilogy box set and am gutted to find out that they will not actually be posting any copies out until next Monday 20th : . I know thats the official release date, but I was hoping that they would be posting them in time for delivery on the release date or even slightly earlier as they do with most pre-release orders.

Looks like anyone who ordered from them will be waiting until the middle or end of next week before they receive their copy and knowing my luck with CD WOW I'll be getting the dreaded - OUT OF STOCK - email.

Apologies if there is already a thread regarding this but with so many threads on SW I did'nt have time to search through them all!!!

CD-WOW do not tend to send out before release date, and I don't think they have for a long time

Wish I'd known that before I ordered, especially since I had my credit card charged months ago.

In my own experience I have normally received my pre-orders on or about the release date, although as already said my luck recently with CD-WOW has not been all that good as I keep getting the OUT OF STOCK email.

It's just frustrating that they aren't shipping until next week when I ordered months ago, whereas I could order form movietyme this week and have it for the weekend.

Especially as I am off work at the moment following an operation and have loads of time to watch it, but my sick note runs out next week, although I might be getting it extended as I'm still not 100%.

I'm just bored and want some new films to watch
