PLAYUSA.com?

I am looking to order My Bloody Valentine on blu-ray from PlayUSA. It is many years since I used them for Region 1 DVDs and towards the end of my purchase run, DVD's we coming through with English and French writing on.

I don't really want this so am worried if I will get this still from Play. They do have two options though on My Bloody Valentine Blu Ray :

This one does not state anything about Packaging - so is it just english?
http://www.playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/...e/Product.html

and this one which does state it has English / French Packaging
http://www.playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/...-/Product.html

The question is, if I do order from the latter - am I guaranteed to get the one without the multi language packaging?

Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Re: PLAYUSA.com?

Playusa source stock from Canada so you always risk French text on the packaging.

Re: PLAYUSA.com?

Is this the case even when there are two options like above - one that does not make any mention and onw that does??

Re: PLAYUSA.com?

As there are 2 options I would think that one is english/french and the other is english only (or french only, but I doubt it). Would be pointless to have both otherwise. Seriously though, what's wrong with english/french packaging? I have Pitch Black and The Chronicles Of Riddick on Blu from PlayUSA with en/fr and while I would prefer them to be just eng, it's a price I'm willing to pay for the money I saved on them. Heck, the 2/3 size boxes bother me more than the language.

Re: PLAYUSA.com?

I just got the new T2 Bluray from Playusa and that was also available with 2 listings.

One that said "English/French packaging" and one that didn't.

I asked for the one without and got the one without

If it bothers you that much you can always pay £3- £8 extra for guaranteed US discs.

Some titles from Canada appear now to be offering the choice - which is good

They always used to be very good, but of lately they've become more unreliable. For more popular titles they've sometimes been out of stock by the time of the release date and it took another week for items to arrive. They also don't seem to stock fewer titles that aren't going to be bestsellers. Still, as I'm not bothered about dual language covers I still use them as they generally are the cheapest option.
