In all cases the newer release is better, the old ones are discontinued and retailers are asking a lot for them, but just buy the newer releases.

Me too. Really want Image of The Fendahl and The Deadly Assassin - which is possibly in my opinion one of the most important Doctor Who episodes ever. Its not my favourite episode - but would be in my top 10 definitely. The nightmare mindscape is really very well done and quite disturbing even now. Philip Hinchcliffe is a genius. I can only hope Steven Moffat follows a similar path.

I managed to get Bred for War for £6 ish the other day, new and sealed off a Playtrader at Play. There seems to be similar there now. Very pleased - 4 stories for £6 is a bargain. And I even like The 2 Doctors.

I have never used Blah before, are they okay to deal with?

Yes, blah are fine; they use generally pretty sturdy packaging (tough corrugated packs for single case DVDs; or thin-ish cardboard boxes for box sets) and have a decent FREEPOST returns service if you need to use it (better than play.com on both counts IMO)!

They're the same company as 101cd.com, base.com and dvd.co.uk these days.

Received Image of the Fendahl today from Play at £5.99. Very pleased. Absolute bargain for a top story. Just finished watching The Sea Devils for the first time which I enjoyed so now I have Fendahl, Deadly Assassin (yet to arrive), The Two Doctors and The Time Warrior lined up to watch. Never seen The Time Warrior either as I grew up with the Tom Baker era. But still really liking some of these Pertwee stories (althoigh I Found Inferno a bit heavy going though despite all the wonderful reviews it gets). But for me a Tom Baker with Sarah or Leela story is as good as it ever got (until some of the better David Tennant ones at least).
