The Avengers 3D + 2D Blu Ray - £9.00

Possible misprice? ASDA charge on ordering.

But £9 is an unreal price!

I doubt that's it, the standard version is the same price, somebody has messed up and didn't differentiate between the different versions - get it quick as Asda from experience tend to honour early orders.

Edit

It's already on a lot of the other bargain forums too and getting a lot of views..

It's definitely a screw up on the Avengers sets, it's just popped up elsewhere as 9 quid for the 6 film DVD boxset and from the post there it goes through for the DVD set still!, the £ 9 blu-ray stock is now OOS unsurprisingly.

As much as Asda tend to honour early orders this is ridiculous, be prepared for cancellation emails.

Edit again

It's obviously beginning getting hammered as everything now seem to be OOS

Edit again the 3D version is back working

thanks, it'll probably be cancelled but worth a go. I've got this pre-ordered at 3 different places now, i will have to remember to cancel 2 of them before it's released!

Maybe if you order for the first time, they may try taking a bit of money as a pre-auth and put it back (similar to what they do in the hotels).

Buy the 3D one and sell the disc on it's own, on a well known auction site, sure you will get more than what you paid for it

It's a done deal I think. They also take all the money up front. I put in a pre-order for The Hunger Games yesterday. It was £13.97 and I thought it was a good price. Placed the order, came here to post the bargain, searched for a similar thread and one came up for Sainsbury's at £11.69 that I'd posted up myself

Had to then cancel the ASDA order, but they'd already taken the money and I'm now waiting for a refund.

No they can cancel the order and refund the money, it's quite common for mis-prices.

That looks like what has happened, all the blu-ray and DVD sets were £9 even the 6 film blu-ray set but that particular one went quick.

Even the DVD is upto £11 now...still no sign of the Blu's.

Hope they keep the orders; but since the boxset was £9 too I'm very much doubting it...

Thread Here. Don't think the code works any more though. Think it's gone up to £14.99 since I posted that.

well it's taking them a long time to cancel if that's their plan. If i look at my order it says item price £19.97 but price paid £9. I guess if they haven't cancelled it by September then we're probably safe
