Or use this ASIN to EAN Converter, just get the ASIN number from the Amazon listing, select the correct Amazon from the drop down list and you get the barcode from any DVD or blu-ray sold by any Amazon.

I've just had Dinosaur blu ray arrive (redeemed from disney a few days ago) and to my surprise, the back of the box stated it was an eligible title.

It had a 150 points card in it.

The cover is slightly different to the one shown on the redemption page so maybe this is a re-issue?

The site doesn't list it as an eligible title but I can confirm that mine was.

I redeemed Lion king blu boxset and it arrived without points code. for reference the films inside had labels over the individual barcode stating not for individual sale. can be easily removed.

The Lion King box set (purchased not redeemed) comes with one code worth 450. I already have the lion king trilogy on my rewards account so what happens if I use a code against a normal Bluray/DVD barcode?

Will I get 450 and Disney won't notice?
Will I just get 100/150 and therefore my best bet it trading/selling the code?

it will be for the barcode you use, check post one for some high value ones, if you get the wrong points about give them a call and they will adjust them.

So when I get a DVD code I should always use barcodes from Blu ray!? Already missed out a trick there.

So EVERY code (The ones where there's only one printed code on the paper not two) is actually worth the same, and that the barcode determines the value... so the trick would be to work your way down the list of ones that offer most points!? If all the points don't register (Why wouldn't they?) then query it with Disney.

Has anyone has Disney comeback with "Your code was from XXX DVD and you are using it with XXX Bluray and therefore your account is being binned lol!?"

My conclusion, only noticed after 6 codes, is that your wrong...
All 6 codes from my 6 copies of Lion King gave me 450ea even the ones that are meant to be higher...

Wish i'd noticed this pattern earlier lol! Because I should have used all codes against crappy DVD barcodes, so that in the future when I do get a code from a crappy DVD I could have used them against a higher value title and messaged Disney complaining and i'd have doubled my points seeing as if Disney adjust them anyway, then getting them to adjust from 100 up to 600 is far better for me then 450-600!

While still earning the 2700points, i've just wasted all the high end titles with them. -.-

Yea i'm down a total of 300 points, 150 of which is on the POTC 1-4 which should be 600 so if I get those 150 I'll be content. Just gutted I wasted all the high value titles with a high value code through mis information lol!

On the plus side i've so far got:
Cars 2 3D
Beauty and the beast 3D
Lion King 3D
Toy Story 3 3D all for free

And when I sell my copies of Lion King Trilogy i'll be in profit hehe!

Just worked out I need like 6150 more points to get all the titles I want lol! When's the disney stores buy 1 get one free!?

Did you actually use the pirates code out of the pirates boxset ? or did you use the lion king tril code ?

I know you only get whatever points the code is worth. So it doesnt matter what EAN you use as you will still end up with the same amount of points.

I only ask about the above as i have a pirates 1-4 boxset code to trade but i still hear it only gives you 150 which on the website it says it should be 600 points (my code is genuinely out of the boxset)

Wouldn't surprise me if Disney stop this promo sooner rather than later. People describing their misdeeds in great detail on public forums won't help. Hilarious someone used six 450 points cards, as subtle as a foghorn.

Loyalty schemes can work for a company, but this one is so open to abuse it's unreal.

Agree, they should all be codes linked too one pacific film, game etc, dunno why they use the codes that you have to put the last 6 digi's in.
