i keep saying i'm gonna get it each time it falls in price but never seem to get round to it... for 40 notes though... wonder if its in store..

Holy jeepers, that is insanely cheap

I'm loving how cheap DVDs are getting at the moment, am buying more DVDs than Blu Rays by far!

I also missed out on this bargain as I thought I'd check in store to see if it was the same price and I probably would've picked up a copy for £50 just to avoid the hassle of having to wait around for the postie... but lo and behold it was £69.99 and by the time I next had a look online it was baclk up to that price too

Argh, that's really bad luck!

No messing about with these kind of deals I suppose, gotta grab 'em asap.


Zavvi has it in stock for £50, but that puts it just a bit too much for me seeing as I've never watched it and don't know how well I'll take to it.

If you like The Wire and The Sopranos then you'll probably like The shield too as they seem to be generally regarded as being the 3 greatest TV crime dramas of the past decade.

I've only actually seen the first season of The Shield but have been reliably informed that the rest are even better so will def get box-set when it next drops below £40...

Yeah, with all the praise it gets I find it hard to believe that I wouldn't enjoy it.

I've not seen The Wire yet either (), and I've never watched The Sopranos as I'm not a big fan of the gangster genre.


Same here, if it drops down to £40 again I'll definitely buy it.

To be honest even at £50 it is an utter bargain. One of the best TV shows of the last 10 years for £7 a season? Might grab it from Zavvi. Quidco will drop the price slightly as well

I have always felt the same mate, which is why as soon as I saw this price I ordered it straight away. Missed out on a fair few deals in the past, but rest assured it will be that price again at some point.

Just placed my order too. I went for the Priority Delivery option, for an extra £3.50, as hoping to avoid this getting caught up in the Christmas rush...
