Doh! Looks like I'm too late. Such a shame that Virgin 1 pulled this great comedy from our screens last year and no other channel has picked it up

Hopefully the A Very Sunny Christmas on Blu-ray will be region free...

Damn, missed it.

Have been looking to get this cheap. Very annoying that there isn't a Region 2 release.

You can get season 1 and 2 as a dutch import, but really not cheap.

Miracle of miracles apparently this is is one of Fox rare region free blu's (lost the thread confirming that). But it is expensive for what amount to just 2 episodes. ( also just don't think the programmes really benefits from being HD)

Wow ... review on Hi def digest
Blu-ray Review: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: A Very Sunny Christmas | High-Def Digest

Basically even thoughhe has never seen the show loved the feature, but boy does he lay into the blu ray disc itself, PQ " Like someone force fed a VHS tape in my Playstation 3". "ulgy as sin". Ho hum looks like even though it may be region free Fox have really stuffed it. Stick with the DVD. Which I expect to be back to under 10 bucks by January.

To be honest, the cheap look of the show is part of the charm for me.. I don't think it would look right if it was in crystal sharp 1080p.

Well season 1-4 set arrived was as expected. Topic, (in no particluar order) ranging from racism, gay rights, incent, nationalism, cannalbalism, crime (petty and not so), death, worms and aload of isms which prob haven't been thought of yet. As for the christmas special, do not consider buying this on blu for anything like the current price. It is funny, but really only an extended episode, worth the 7 bucks I paid but not really worth much more.

So are the DVD extras good then? As I've got the TV recordings of seasons 1-4 on disc but might be tempted to pick up the box-set next time it's cheap if there's decent bonus material...

The extra seem fairly average, (gag reel, commentaries, behind the scenes). Only watched the christmas special so far, the extras on that are just fillers,
but looking at the set contents nothing major being missed if you haven't got them, but will update once I've had a chance to view them.
PQ is pretty decent.
