I used this offer to order Moon the other day which effectively meant £5 off making it the cheapest way to get Moon on BD. Quite tempted to do the same with Terminator Salvation.

Just thought I'd point out that 500 points = £5 voucher that can be used in Tesco stores and their online stores.

or if used on their Clubcard Rewards Site you get x4 the amount so £5 becomes £20 Clubcard Rewards

Like Max222 say's your getting a minimum of £5 when the vouchers come through.

I've ordered 2 Blu-Ray's and a CD, so I'll get 1500 points = £15 or £60 to use on the Clubcard Rewards Site. £60 is more than I paid for the Blu-rays and CD.

Never had that trouble and there's a lot more to choose from now.
Been using rewards for ages and used points on Hotel Breaks, Magazine subscriptions for us and gifts, RAC and Air Miles.
Saving points at the moment to use on Virgin Holidays got about £200 so far (£800).

I have Tesco clubcard but lost my tesco online password. Raised forgot password thrice but still haven't received any reply. I am out of UK and will be there only around Feb'2010. Will TESCO be able to apply the clubcard points on a later date if present them proof of the Order details? Please clarify.

is it your Tesco Entertainment password or your Clubcard one? I'd forgot my Entertainment p/w so raised forgot p/w and it took a few hours to come through. maybe in your spam/junk folder?
Can't help you with the Points at a later date though! but I plan to keep my order emails as the points don't show up on the order and you won't receive the points untill the february clubcard statement.

I think you might have to sign up with tesco entertainment!? and then when you've added things to your basket and go to pay it has an option to enter your clubcard no.

fare enough, im a single person that dont do alot dont do holidays or have a car or like reading, none of the above really appeal to me, maybe i will take another look.

Tesco replied saying "this promotion finished Sunday the 15th Nov"

I replied saying "the website doesn't mention this" and pointed out that the links to the CD's, DVD's, Blu-ray's and Games were still working!

Tesco replied again saying "500 Extra Clubcard points promotion runs from Wednesday 18th Nov to Sunday 22nd Nov"

Have replied again trying to find out what's going on and what will happen to the orders people have placed today and yesterday!

None of the links seem to be working now!!

well thats nice and clear isn't it I'm glad I ordered Moon some days ago and its on the way. The 500 points dont get credited until Feb by the way but it was still a good deal.

They must be putting a new one up tomorrow. I'll just cancel the order i did today if the films aren't in it. I only preordered district 9 because of the deal, otherwise i'll just get it later as i'm actually on holiday when it comes out for 10 days.

There has been some confusion over this offer, it appears it ended on the 15th. But the web pages were still active until yesterday afternoon and there was no mention of when the offer finished. So if you ordered anything on Mon 16th - Tue 17th and want your Clubcard points might be a good idea to cancel your order and try again.

well done - based on my time as a Marketing Manager I'd say your emails knocked some heads together and a rapid fiddling around with the website resulted. The fact there were no dates on the original T&Cs probably got some Marketing Assistant a ticking off.

Blah now it says i can't cancel the order from yesterday... i've had to e-mail them to try and sort out the cancellation or tell me if the 500 points apply from yesterday. IMO if there was no date on it, and the weblink was active then they have to honour it. But might be a right pita to get them to cough up.

Received Moon on BD today. Cant wait to watch this.

Is Terminator Salvation worth getting ? I'm not a Terminator obsessive so I dont care if its not perfect - just want a good easy watching film.
