Deep Discounts Sale

Deep Discounts have a sale on at the moment, including 40% off blu-rays and Criterion releases.

I've had a look at the blu-rays and picked out a few that might interest some people (prices shown include $5.95 standard International Shipping fee):

-The Terminator - region free blu-ray - £8.36 with standard shipping
-The Aviator - region free blu-ray - £11.29 with standard shipping
-JFK Digibook - region free blu-ray - £16.15 with standard shipping

If I hadn't spent so much recently on blu-rays I would be very tempted for all three of these. This is just a small selection of what's on offer. I tried to pick out things that haven't had UK releases.

I hope you manage to snag a few bargains for yourselves!

EDIT: Here's the link for Deep Discounts: http://www.deepdiscount.com/

True...they are probably not genuine bargains as such, but not bad prices for discs that can't be bought in the UK.

General - The Terminator [Blu-ray Disc] R (MPAA) / 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment / Blu-ray Disc

This Region Free?

Not much for features, I'm assuming this is the only release of it at present?

Confirmed as region free by movietyme, here: MovieTyme - Terminator, The DVD - Sci-Fi / Fantasy

I think it is the only release at present (please correct me if I am wrong). I think I also read that it has been discontinued. There will certainly be another release coming along at some point.

Re: Deep Discounts Sale

Cheers for that, I think they'll hold out for it until they release the proper Region B version just like Die Hard 3

Re: Deep Discounts Sale

Usually DD do 20% off (discs not postage) vouchers in late November so I´d wait before buying anything.

This sale ends November 29th. It seems to me it's replacing the usual 20% off one.

Ordered Kingdom of Heaven, that's all (could probably have gotten the Region B one cheaper, but the cover art is horrible). Amazon.com is still cheaper on a lot of stuff.

It can be handy to order some things in and out of stock because in my last order DD sent items seperately as they came in stock, so avoiding customs problems.

don't know yet, they have shipped the one BD I ordered in stock (other 2 on backorder) though so should have it soon, they did deduct the $5 from the disc price not the P&P in the invoice though so you should be ok. From past orders they round down to the nearest $ on the packet too.

How soon did they dispatch the one they had in stock as I may order 1 item they have in stock and another they don't?

Pretty quick, within 2 days I think. Usually pretty good on back orders too.
