This is one of my favourite Xmas films but the DVD version will do for me. Excellent price though.

I believe so as this is the PG version, the PG13 version has Griwald say the F word. It's never been available in the UK uncut.

Bought this last year from HMV on HD-DVD for £2.99 (cheaper than DVD at the time)

I can confirm their is barely no difference between HD and SD. I can only assume the same transfer on blu

I picked this up and as far as I can tell it's the uncut version. I've had a quick flick through and Griswold's "hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny Kaye" is certainly in there. Perhaps this is a direct port of the US release that has slipped through the BBFC's net?

For £6.99 I think it's worth it but only for those who don't have the DVD version.

The transfer is complete rubbish, very little difference from the DVD version, sadly I paid £15 when it was first released on blu ray
