Never seen the film myself, but at £4.99, something tells me it ain't much cop

This is an excellent and criminally underated movie imo,I found the film to be very entertaining and quite moving at times with regard to Grendels plight.

It portrays Beowulf and his group as being vulnerable and with conscience as opposed to the mindless killers vikings are usually portrayed as,also plenty of witty **** taking and banter between them creates a more believable group for me.

For such a limited budget film I think this is a fine re-creation of the poem,beautifully shot and with a sweeping and emotionally charged score,also some great acting performances to boot.A total steal at £4.99!

Watched the blu-ray last night. Excellent movie. Some stunning photography of Iceland. I just wish they could have put the 2006 'making of' documentary Wrath of Gods on the disc.
