Yup, read about that this morning......

What's even stranger is that now it has a limited set number they aren't going to number it!

Also, as per my post in my collection thread, it has now also been delayed until January

I wish someone from sideshow could officially come out and say what the hell is going on with this piece. I would still be annoyed at the delays but at least we would know why we were waiting, its just bad customer service!

As myself and cooey have already done could all those with this bust on order put a reply in over on the sideshow freaks board regarding the numbering or rather the lack of (would put a link but not sure if im allowed - its in the ask sideshow part of the forum)

Numbered would be lovely, got to wait already, at least make it worthwhile

Apparently the reason for the delay this time is due to QC issues, so on one side as long as this comes out perfect I will happily accept the delay

If however it comes through when I get from Play and is damaged, I'll be doing my damned hardest to have some harsh words with Sideshow when the time comes

That's pretty much the only thing which is going to really annoy me! Especially if it is for QC issues as well. I am sure there will be a lot of angry customers though if that is the case!

If this comes damaged or with any kind of bad craftsmanship i will be devastated. Obviously that’s the risk you take buying from someone like play that can’t do replacements but with all the delays im expecting this to be mint!

I would have thought it would at least be a couple of weeks. I’m guessing sideshow sends it to the EU warehouse, from there to the play warehouse, then play have to attach postage labels before finally shipping to us.

IIRC the norm is -

Sideshow release this in Jan and shipments will be made to the EU warehouse. Once there, it will then be sent out to the chaps who ordered it direct and also sent out to the resellers at the same time. I'd say there would be at least a 2 week wait

As for numbering it..... I doubt it. I'd love to see it numbered, but I doubt it

The play website now lists this as 'Temporarily out of stock. This item will be dispatched as soon as it arrives.'

Also my order now says 'order taken' (but tbh i cant remember if it said that before lol) They must have reached their order limit.

Give it a couple of days when they change the release date for a further week to 28/11, it'll go back to pre-order

No further update in the SS newsletter this week either.... really getting on my nips now!! Considering this was meant to be released in September, we should all have it by now!!

I suppose you could say I had a stroke of luck..... Play accidentally cancelled my order so asked me to re-order again.

So I did, and got an extra £16 Quidco on top (bearing in mind I'd already been paid my first £16 for the first order )
