Re: Predator Figures
Hi,
I have been looking into getting some Predator stuff.
I like this (can't believe this changed to Sold Out as I was looking at it!) , this and I am also looking for the McFarlane Elder figure. Anyone seen it anywhere?
I also thought this was quite cool if not a bit pricey.
Anyone seen these cheapish anywhere? EDIT: Anyone seen the Predator Kotobukiya Statue anywhere for a decent price?
Thanks

Re: Predator Figures
I've never been too sure about the Koto Predator figure.
Somehow, for me, it's the angle of the blades coming out of his arm. They just dont look right !

Yeah I see what you mean, it's still cool though.
I'm going to get one so when I do I'll post pictures/thoughts in here.
What Predator stuff have you got now?

Re: Predator Figures
Couple of pics of the McFarlane Scar Predator, and Grid Alien. They can be put together to make a scene, i just decided to keep them split.
For the price they are really good until i can afford some of the stuff that is more expensive.

Re: Predator Figures
I got the Predator Kotobukiya from MyCinemania today.
+ Looks great
+ High amount of detail
+ Interchangeable mask (You can remove the teeth and put the mask on if you want to)
+ Nice pose
- Some bits are pretty flimsy, namely:
The shoulder mounted gun, it is very thin and I actually broke it putting it in but that's my fault. If you get one I would be very careful with it or just keep it in the box for safe keeping.
The little spikes that go into the end of the spear, these are also thin and I broke one of these when I was removing the teeth from the face and they suddenly came out so I banged the spike against a surface which broke it off Silly me So be careful with those as well.
Apart from that it is a very nice statue, it still looks great without the shoulder gun and spear spikes

Re: Predator Figures
If your a predator fan you should check out the special edition dvd boxset it`s an excellent quality item and was made in conjunction with sideshow I got one just before christmas, and then there`s also the sideshow 1:1 bust of course, which is very highly recommended
Heres the boxset, it has a drawer round the back that holds the dvd`s and it`s about 1:2 scale
And here`s the sideshow 1:1 a great bust with good wow factor
