Not Strictly memorobilia but I think it fits

So after over 4 years I finally decided to get a new Tattoo done.

Today I had my first 3hr sitting of line work starting what will eventually be a full colour wrap around on my lower leg.

It hurt like absolute buggery in certain places but was so worth all the pain.

So without further ado here's my latest non memorabilia / sort of permanent never going anywhere memorabilia...

I am so so so chuffed with it, looks amazing in person.

More to come in just over a months time

Neil

Nice. I like that a lot!

So, are you getting Megatron on the other leg?

Erm not exactly
My other leg has a terrible tribal piece that I can't cover up so what I am doing is having something else on the inside of my leg with Prime on to make a full integrated wrap around

No clues yet though lol

Thanks again

Neil

That's looking sweet so far, and when finished will look very impressive. A few years back when I was having my leg done there was a guy in the next chair to me who was having much the same as you over his left arm and down his chest. We both left some 6 hours later extremely achy but very happy with what we had achieved that day.

Can't wait to see more pics of this as it progresses.

As it happens I booked a small tattoo for myself yesterday in one of my local studios, as they are having a day where all proceeds are going to charity. Anything they can do in an hour they do for £20, and it all goes straight to charity. So I couldn't turn that offer down...

Thanks buddy

6hrs??
Blimey I thought I was going to die after 3 on that.
Although I think if I wasn't so bony on my ankles it would'nt have hurt quite as bad.
My ankle is still pretty swollen actually.

Oh don't worry plenty more pics to come when I get the next stage done

That's a good idea at your local & well worth getting involved in.
Hope you get something nice done.

Lol I'm sure your's isn't that bad?
Anything Transformers is awesome so it can't be

Go on DO IT!!!!!
You know you want to

I had thought about Rodimus on the inside of my leg to go with Prime...kinda old & new leaders but I've settled on something else instead.

Can't wait to get it done now.

Thanks

It's getting lots of respect so far, had a few random's stop me in the street yesterday to chat about it because I had shorts on (no way I could wear jeans over it at the mo...fabric it too coarse against...glad the weather was good) which was nice & the first time that's ever happened with a Tattoo I've got.
Most commented on how much it must have hurt but a few were just because it's Prime.

Although Bay has something to answer for...I had one younger child yesterday telling me it was wrong & prime looks nothing like that.
Took me & his dad about 20 minutes to explain this is the real deal & Bay is a different version

Thanks again guys, glad you like it.

Neil

It's not that it's bad but compared to what you've got it's pretty poor.

Looks great, Some nice line-work by the Tattooist. There are some shocking so called artist's out there who can't even tattoo a straight line. Glad you choose a good one

That is pretty cool, and a very good job, should look even better when you get it coloured, bet thats gonna hurt though.

I had a decepticon logo done in a tribal style done about 18 months ago, took a little over an hour and that was getting a little sore towards the end, 3 hours sounds painful, especially with the knowledge of going back for more

Look forward to seeing this progress

Thanks again guys.

Dickie,

Yeah the guy I had was amazing...he's only been full time for 2 years!!!
Couldn't believe the level of detail & his line work after that short space of time...like you I've seen some shocking stuff out there but I'd recommend these guys all day long now.

Lemon,

Yeah expecting the colour will be nasty but it'll be worth it.
Lots of work though, I was looking at the picture of Prime again last night & the amount of colours & stuff that will be involved let alone the shading & bits on the Logo, it's going to be heavy going I can tell you.

You & Jsniper should get pics up of yours as well

3 Hours was about my limit to be honest anymore & I wouldn't have coped.
We did have a couple of comfort breaks but they didn't really help & I got the shakes pretty bad when he was stenciling the Autobot Insignia to line up so had to have a sit down & tons of sugar so ample Pepsi & Chocolate was the order of the day lol

Anyway thanks again guys I appreciate the comments.

Neil

That is really nice.
Looking forward to the colour and also what you have planned on the other side.
Yeah the colour will hurt as there are more needles involved!

As for the collarbone. Well, a new skateboard, late for work and speed wobble all culminated in this

This was taken a couple of hours after it was done, hence the redness around it

Hope the picture attaches okay, first time doing it

Thank you, it was inspired by an a picture I saw on the Deviantart website, I forget the name of the artist, but they had done an Autobot logo in tribal style that looked awesome, but I wanted a decepticon logo and the normal ones I saw I didnt think translated to a tattoo very well.

The same artist had done a Decepticon one, but I wasn't as taken with that one, went into the tattoo shop with pictures of the tribal Autobot and a picture of the deception logo, and the tattooist drew that one, I liked it instantly.

Blimey was it really 2 months ago I started this thread???
Doesn't quite feel like it...anyway today I have returned from phase 2
3 more hours of what I can only describe as excrutiating pain...at times it was horrendous but as before the result is well worth every second of it.
So without further ado here is what was accomplished...

Having finished the bulk of it now the colour will come next but was talking with the artist & a few plans are forming for the gap & to possibly take it further

I'm off to nurse it a bit now as it's stinging like crazy at the mo

Lol I was a tad hungry when I got home & didn't realise I hadn't moved them before the missus took the picture...they are awesome though & proper cheap from Aldi's

It did indeed hurt like a biatch...at points I thought I was going to swear the place down.
It's still stinging today & around the calf it's particularly tight but worth it all
