How much do you spend?

Just wondering roughly how much people spend each year on their memorabilia...
Seen a lot of people on here with some really expensive items and huge collections so it makes me wonder!

Anonymous poll (just in case anyone voting doesn't want SWMBO to know )

Sorry if this has been done before, I couldn't find anything on it...

Re: How much do you spend?

So far I would say £2000 + easy. Most of mine have cost me £100 and considering I only started in dec 08 I've got quite a lot now. I will probably ease off a bit, but Sideshow keep releasing good statues!

I wish I could justify spending that much but I end up feeling bad when I make purchases, I've only just recently started collecting figures and I'm not even into the big expensive ones yet, but I know it's a matter of time, just interested to see where this collecting thing could end up taking me
Might have to exercise a bit of restraint on spending.

Re: How much do you spend?

had to google SWMBO

this thread sort of makes me sad as I tend to think more about what I'm going to spend and if I can afford rather than think of what I've spent in the past...... now I have (briefly) I'm a little depressed so will have to wait on the parcelforce van to come to cheer me up

Re: How much do you spend?

For this year your poll doesn't go high enough Well it does, but it's a big sized + on the £2000.

Madness, sheer bloody madness

Re: How much do you spend?

I keep a log of everything I buy for future use, when / if I decide to sell bits. It certainly mounts up doesn't it, just had a look at the totals and by the end of this year I will have spent just under £4000 and about £500 of that is for postage + Tax alone

25 x 12"Figures
10 x Mini busts
5 x Statues

...and I consider myself to be quite selective too
