amb001's small but growing collection

Well I've been on a bit of a spending splurge recently and thought I'd share a few pictures of the items of picked up over the last couple of months.

Not looking forward to the next credit card statement landing on the door mat that's for sure

Unfortunately, I haven't got around to displaying these yet so the piccies are just shots of the items against my living room wall.

I hope you like some of my purchases as much as I do

Sideshow AVP:R Wolf Bust

Sideshow Wolf Predator Mask

Sideshow Battle Damaged Arnie Bust

Sideshow T800 (Clean) & TX Endoskulls

Sideshow Endoskeleton Arm + Custom Tube

Great collection

If just started collected you have started at the top. I just recently purchased the same predator bust. Does yours smell as well?

Hi Chaggs, I've not noticed any smells coming from my Predator bust. I do have a minor cold, but nothing that would prevent me picking up anything significant.... perhaps I got l lucky with mine!

I've only recently started to collect lifesize items but I have been collecting Hot Toys 1/6 Aliens & Predator figures for a while. I may try to take some shots of this collection over the coming days.

Re: amb001's small but growing collection

all good choices

my wolf bust gave off a chemical smell from the oil on the dreads for a while but it's faded now, although maybe that's because I used a whole kitchen roll to dry them off.

Awesome collection!

I'm really wanting one of the Wolf Predator busts myself. Got an incredible urge to sit it looking out of the window for the window cleaner for some reason.

Thank you for the kind comments. I managed to pick up the predator mask a couple of weeks ago from a seller on another forum. I ended up paying £200 delivered which judging by some of the prices i've seen on ebay recently was an absolute steal!

Re: amb001's small but growing collection

Wow outstanding collection
Can I ask how much you paid for the predator bust from the first film?
Have you cleaned the terminatrix bust as it looks so shiny?
What's with the yellow skirting board?

Hi Chaggs, I paid $1200 for the bust plus another $500 on shipping from the US. This was one of my grail pieces so I felt it was worth it. I was worried though about how well it would survive the journey, but thankfully it arrived in perfect condition.

I haven't cleaned the TX, in fact it's probably in need of a scrub as i've been moving it around a fair but recently.

Yeah sorry about the skirting board. I'm currently in the process of decorating and this is something that's on the list

As a fellow 1:1 nut your collection is really impressive! How about a life size endo to really test your credit card? It just popped up for sale again! Play.com (UK) : Terminator: Life-Size T-800 Endoskeleton (Veteran Combat Version) : Gadgets - Free Delivery

That's a really impressive piece but I just wouldn't have the room to display it unless I knock a wall down into next door's living room....now there's a thought!!

I think i'm nearing capacity now so i may have to slow donw on my purchases. I'll always keep a space free though for a 1:1 alien bust just in case I manage to get hold of one.
