Autographs?

Is it just me or is it very VERY difficult to know whether an autographed item is an authentic sig or not? I just bought an item recently which arrived this afternoon, the exact same one as this one listed HUGH JACKMAN AUTOGRAPH REPRINT SIGNED FRAMED PHOTO B on eBay (end time 10-Oct-09 14:13:32 BST) and from what I have seen on-line so far there seems to be a huge variation in style of signatures by Hugh Jackman alone? never mind other peoples sigs, this is not going to be an easy thing to collect unless I get them to sign them in front of me at a convention or something... Which most of the big stars probably dont ever attend such things anyway!!

Does anyone know of a supplier here in the UK who sells AUTHENTIC autographs? So that I hopefully dont get robbed again

Cool Re: Autographs?

The link you posted does say reprint meaning it was taken off an original.

I found this place ok and actually chatted with the owner and he even told me places to get autographs. His a member of a official Autograph society that makes sure their member only sell from reliable sources.

Re: Autographs?

By far the best i have used is
www.sbtsautographs.com . . . Ryland is a top guy and has sourced me some great autographs,he can also frame and plaque them and they look outstanding.
If any of you guys go to Collectermania or film and comic cons then you are bound to have seen his stall.

On another note,he had recently sourced me a fantastic Clint Eastwood one from Unforgiven.
Its currently away being framed . . .Cant wait for it to be up in the hall !!!!
