Hot toys figures...........

Getting into all this hot toys stuff i see around here. Got a Terminator T-600 concept today. It's very nice but a nightmare to put together for the few little parts you need to. Surprised i didn't snap it either by accident or in a rage. Tried to include a pic of each stage and variation. I'll be getting a case for it soon.

Got a Joker bank robber too, very nice it is.
Oh, sorry for the craptacular photo's, i never read the instruction booklet.

apart from the fiddly nightmare they sometimes are i'm not keen on the metal wire thing on the base. am i using it wrong or do people not bother at all, any hints/tips?

Re: Hot toys figures...........

Nice pics, I too have the bank robber joker and find the metal doesnt seem to keep the figure standing as they are either to wide or not wide enough!!

Didn't want to try bending it so tend not to bother. i did swap a couple of the base around so that they fitted better as nearly everyone I have had is different

Re: Hot toys figures...........

yeah, the bank robber is a lot wider than the other joker wire thing. i may try just placing it right but i know it'll fall over. could go for the classic blue tack on the feet/base combo.

Re: Hot toys figures...........

behold, the mark 1!

why must they make it so fiddly. i spent at least 10 minutes faffing around with the batteries on it, pegs coming out of hands, was sure i was going to snap the facemask putting it on too. could be my big fat sausage fingers but i blame hot toys.

Re: Hot toys figures...........

Think im gonna go ahead and order . .
Had my eye on it a while and its the only one from the ironman range that interests me.
You should have a look at the batmobile hottoys do.
I got mine last week and its fantastic.
You can get it cheaper on play than you can from abroad or forbidden planet and its in stock.
Cheers for the pics and info

Re: Hot toys figures...........

it's certainly a nice bit of kit. just be careful with the battery, hands, mask and what not. i can imagine them breaking easy enough.
probably my favourite iron man too but you gotta have the full set, all the cool kids do............
i do like the batmobile, even if i can afford it it's a lot. plus i've nowhere really to put the figures i have now never mind the several i'm expecting and have on pre order.

It doesn't half look impressive, most basic of the 3 suits but it still looks just as good as the other two if not better.

Re: Hot toys figures...........

i'd have thought i should prefer the mark 3 suit but i think it looks the most like an action figure/toy where as i think the mark 1 looks like more impressive, detailed and higher end.

Have you got a unit to put them in? I got this one with a light from Ikea for £45: IKEA | Cabinets & sideboards | Display cabinets | DETOLF | Glass-door cabinet

Yet to put anything in it right enough

Re: Hot toys figures...........

i dont really have any room downstairs for a detolf without rearranging a lot, although they are very nice. if i decorate upstairs i may get one, or 2!
downstairs i have a cabinet type thing with space on the top, i bought this glass case to see how it looked with a figure. it's small for the terminator, predator or the bigger figures but fits the other ones. i emailed them to see if they could do me a a couple of customs one for other figures.

Ikea, although I don't think it is made for the unit (that one was out of stock at £10) you wouldn't know any different.

IKEA | Integrated lighting | Kitchen integrated lighting | GRUNDTAL | Spotlight
