Shocking really. BBC get sole UK rights for Live MotoGP and the first round of the year they throw the 125cc & 250cc on the Red button service so Sky users have got no way of recording them

Then they hide the MGP race over on BBC3 so analogue viewers can't even watch that one.

Poor poor show after all the coverage they gave the start of the F1 season.

Come back eurosport..........

I knew the BBC would **** up coverage of the MotoGP. They should have left it with Eurosport.

it's about the same coverage they gave it last year...Moto GP at primetime on BBC1/2 just isn't gonna happen.

As for Eurosport you can watch 125/250 live and Moto GP on 1 hr delay...Toby and Jules doing the commentary (no Randy though), it'll be done 'off-tube' from London I think they are only going to three races this year.

What a joke - well done BBC!

At least Eurosport had it in HD last year, now Beeb have it and proceed to ruin it for all right away...at least there is 5 hours solid of golf on BBC HD though...yawn!

Eurosport sem to still have covergae but, not live and now not in HD this season??

It was never HD it was only upscaled SD.

The reason why it is not on the HD channel may be that this late deal is only with the British version of the channel, remember Eurosport HD is a pan-European channel (thus US Open tennis was blanked out in the UK due to SKY's rights).

The coverage is produced by Dorna (the Moto GP equivalent of Bernie's FOM for F1). They (apparently) are testing HD ready for next season. Incidentally it was their decision to drop Eurosport (nothing to do with the BBC).

Although even if it was available in HD, I'd guess the Masters (an event with a much greater audience) would get precedence.
