Re: F1 new season starts

Always been a massive MS fan, so it'll be strange without him. Looking forward to seeing Hamilton and how he does.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I'm seriously into Moto GP now though as the races are so much more interesting (Rossi being a god!)

Re: F1 new season starts

Another thing with ITV why put highlights on so late and keep changing the time they really need to sort this out.

The picture quality better not be crap like it has been with the footy this week I have really been looking forward to watching F1 Live again.

I was thinking of going to British GP just down the road from me and considering it could be the last one but I am going to wait see how the season goes first it could end up being one of them really borring ones again.

Re: F1 new season starts

I used to be a really big fan of F1 in my teenage years late 80s/early 90s glad i went to the british gp when all the greats of those days were still racing (Prost, Senna, Mansell, etc) F1 was alot better in those days. Since the death of Senna its just never been the same again. Senna for me was the greatest F1 driver of my time.

Talking Re: F1 new season starts

Like a few others I am not looking as much forward to the F1 season as previous years. I just don't get the same feeling this year. This may be down to the retirement of Schumacher, although it may be interesting to see how Mr Alonso gets on in his new F1 team.

Re: F1 new season starts

its definitely about making the effort and staying up live. Im really excited by Kimi in a ferrari, felt he was hard done by last year and itll be interesting to see what happens. With schumi out of they way, Mclaren and Ferrari look very evenly matched, and itll be interesting to see what happens.

Re: F1 new season starts

I just can't get excited about any driver...

Loved the days of the 80s like others have said and I always enjoyed watching Michael but who to support now?

Kimi - I want to slap his face.
Alonso - OK but faceless [not literally]
Fizzy - see above
Heidfeld - see above
Trulli - see above
Coulthard - a fellow Scot but not very good [I'm being polite]
Button - a fellow Brit but not very good [and he needs a slap]
Hamilton - a fellow Brit who could be interesting
Rubens - likeable but past his best
Others - who? Maybe a pleasant surprise awaits

Perhaps I should just watch it as a neutral and enjoy the racing.

Re: F1 new season starts

Fisi reporting he lost time on his last lap mainly because of sato.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gja-1s7uSJc

Got Fisi 5/1 for top 3 finish. Expect Renault to be quick of the grid.

Does anyone else hate Sato and the way he always ignores blue flags etc? Cost Hamilton 2nd place. Shouldn't be in F1, IMO.

Re: F1 new season starts

Sato is a great character.

This Hamilton stuff I am hoping will wear of soon it's a bit stupid yes he's a rookie but he's in 1 of if not best car, swap him and button he wont do anything.

I see the ITV picture was crap again and the race wasn't anything special only thing thats exciting is when people crash.
