F1 - Cannot wait!!!

Anyone else counting the days until the start of the new F1 season in Bahrain??? Would love to see Button notch up his first win sometime during the season, Barichello will push him more than Sato ever did; but will he spit his dummy out at the fact that he is no longer the out-and-out number one in the team??? Only time will tell, roll on March

It's gonna be better than last year, fresh faces and some new teams. And of course the tyre rule change! Not too sure about the new qualifying method though.

I'm looking forward to it

Last year was watchable for me for the first time in a while so hopefully this year will be even better
Slightly off topic but does anyone know why ITV has changed the commentators for the Rally program on Sundays ? It sounded like a female newsreader to me this week

I hope F1 gets better - it's been a bit one sided over the last few years. There used to be a real unpredictableness about it, would Senna, Prost, or Mansell win?

I think this was the best modern era for racing.

WRC has been saddened by the retirement of one top driver and the very sad death of another.

Just read a story, I quote a paragraph:

"Raikkonen expressed his concern over McLaren's Mercedes engine, which has suffered reliability problems since it made its debut last week."

Oh dear not another season of blown engines

In my humble opinion motorsport is the only thing worth watching.

Football, Rugby,....tennis sucks

Give me 4 wheels and a squillion brakehorse power anyday!

I really cant wait for the new Formula 1 season should be going to at least two races this year as well. So fingers crossed that the Spanish and British Grand Prixs are good.

Lets hope it's better than recent years....but in case you all thought the cars look too much like racing cars,I hope you've seen the FIA's plans for 2008.

Personally I prefer the concept of A1,where its purely down to the skill of the driver rather than how much money the team can throw at their car should be a lot more competetive than F1 as well

Yeah, it does look pretty silly but I'm glad that they're using the aerodynamic rules to solve the "not much overtaking" problem.

What are the new tyre rules this year ? I can't remeber where the debate got to last year with it.

Shame they couldnt have taken a leaf out of the Champ Car series' book for that...the rear wing used there(the Handford Wing) reduces rear downforce significantly, allows overtaking and drafting, and doesnt look utterly ridiculous....but of course,it wasn't proposed by the FIA.
