Should be a good day out.

Plato had a fairly brutal outing at Brands and got a few points on his licence as well as his scorecard, but the MG did well.

Go and support these guys....!

Strong start for AmDtuning.com at Brands Hatch

did he receive an endorsement? i think he deserved it if he did, his move on Newsham was far too ambitious in the first race and he wasn't half stuffing it up Jordan in the last race - ok it's BTCC and you want to see a few love taps and the occassional *banzai assault charge* thrown in for real drama but to constantly badger lap after lap because you can't get past with skill just looked incredibly annoying. Not calling Plato unskillful i think he's a great touring car driver.

Roll on Donny, hope the racing is every bit as good as it was at Brands

As far as I can remember it was a fine and 3 points.

The last race incident with Mat Jackson's oil finished a lot of people's chances of some good points.

Would love to go and watch as I hear the ticket prices are very reasonable indeed, but sadly just not practical for me to go at the present time

I'm going to Croft this year, as I do every year, to watch them. After watching last week I'm already excited as now they've all switched to the NGTC engines it does seem to have closed them all up.

Prices are good, racing is very close and pretty tough at times, and AMD/Milltek run one of the most popular teams in the paddock,as one of the real underdogs.

If my boy were older then i would definitely go, 9 months is just a bit too young to be watching live motorsport so we watch it together on the telly instead*

* he watches for 5 mins then gets bored.

He's getting better he watched a good 10 minutes of the F1 and then another 10 mins of the BTCC

Dirty, dirty Plato is all i can say. Glad he got penalised, 2nd week running, though i would have given him a time penalty that would have cost him his podium finish - he's still wound up 2nd now that Jackson's been DQ'd for overboost

Thinking about going to watch the BTCC when it returns to Brands Hatch in October, would have gone sooner but don't want a massive treck (i'm in London) and i don't think Thruxton is the best spectator track going, I've already been to Silverstone.
